Ingredients:

1/2 pound Butter, room temperature

1/2 pound grated Sharp cheddar cheese, room temperature

3 cups All-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon Salt

3 dashes Tabasco sauce

Special tools/utensils needed:

Cookie press fitted with a star tube, cookie sheet

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2. Cream butter and cheese together.

3. Add flour, salt and hot sauce.

4. Put a portion of the dough in a cookie press. Use the cookie press with the star tube and run strips of dough onto a greased cookie sheet.

5. Bake a few minutes until done and crisp but watch very closely as they will burn easily.
