Caramel Corn

Directions:
3 quarts Popped corn
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 stick Butter
1/4 cup Karo light syrup
Pinch of cream of tartar
Pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
Special tools/utensils needed:
9x12 baking dish
Directions:
Pop the popcorn
In a large saucepan combine brown sugar, butter, karo syrup, cream of tartar, and salt. Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionaly.
After you have stirred down the sugar mixture add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. Pour and stir over popped corn. Be sure to remove all unpopped kernels before adding syrup to corn.
Pour into 9x12 baking dish.
Bake @ 200 degrees for 1 hour. Stir twice while baking.
Dump out on newspaper, break up.
Keep in airtight Tupperware and it will stay crisp until all gone. Really good.
