Ingredients:
2 tablespoons Bacon drippings
1 cup Cornmeal
1/2 cup All-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Egg
2/3 cup Milk
Special tools/utensils needed:
Heavy bottomed pan (like cast iron), spatula
Directions:
Heat bacon drippings on low.
Mix remaining ingredients.
Add batter and fry as low as possible to golden brown.
Turn and continue on as low as possible for 10-15 minutes more or until done.
