Special tools/utensils needed:
2 Mixing bowls, sauce pan, wooden spoon, 9 inch by 9 inch baking dish, clean hand towel
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water for approximately 10 minutes.
Warm milk over medium heat until scalded, reaching approximately 110 degrees.
Combine scalded milk, butter, sugar, and salt. Cool to lukewarm.
Add dissolved yeast and egg.
Gradually stir in flour to form soft dough.
Cover with clean hand towel and let rise until doubled in size, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
For filling, roll out dough in rectangular shape and brush on melted butter.
Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top of the melted butter.
Roll up in jelly roll fashion and cut into discs.
Put in greased 9 inch by 9 inch baking dish, cover with a clean towel, and let rise until doubled in
size, 30 to 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
For frosting, mix powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk (1 tablespoon at a time) until spreadable (mixture will slightly thicken as it sets).
Let rolls cool, then frost with powdered sugar mixture.
