Description: This is a re-creation of Sonny’s BBQ Beans, a favorite of many. The sausage and/or hamburger may be omitted (and the grease). Bradley’s sausage was always the go-to. This was locally made in Tallahassee and very, very lean. The beans were originally prepared on the grill but on the stovetop is just as yummy.
Sausage was bought in bulk at Bradley’s, made into individual patties and frozen. A patty was about the size of a 1 1/2” meatball pressed flat.
