Pasta Salad

Description: This is another recipe that can go with the flow. Any type pasta can be used. The tri color spirals make for a colorful salad. Penne is another popular choice. You can adjust the amount of any of the ingredients to taste. The recipe makes 1 cup of olive oil/red wine vinegar mixture. You can make whatever amount you wish just mix the olive oil and red wine vinegar in 3:1 proportions.

Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) Box pasta shells
1 (14 ounce) Can artichoke hearts drained, cut in chunks
1 (4.25 ounce) Can sliced black olives, drained
1 (4 ounce) Can sliced mushrooms, drained
Dash garlic salt
3/4 Cup olive oil
1/4 Cup red wine vinegar
2 Splashes Italian dressing
1/4 Cup grated parmesan cheese
Special tools/utensils needed: Colander, large bowl
Directions:
Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and place in large bowl.
Add artichoke hearts, black olives, and mushrooms.
Add garlic salt to taste
Mix olive oil and red wine vinegar. Pour over the salad along with a splash or 2 of Italian dressing and stir until salad is well coated.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over top before serving.
