Ingredients:
2-3 pounds ground chuck
1 medium onion, chopped
salt & pepper to taste
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon basil
1 Tablespoon oregano
1 Tablespoon parsley
1 small can tomato paste
1 small can tomato sauce
1 large can tomato sauce
8 lasagna noodles
1 egg
1/2 pound cottage cheese
3 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 package sliced mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
In a skillet, brown the meat & drain the fat. Add chopped onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, basil, oregano, tomato paste and sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Cook 8 lasagna noodles following the directions on the box.
Mix the cottage cheese, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, and egg.
Butter a long lasagne pan. Layer 1/3 of the meat sauce, then 1/2 of the noodles, then all the cream & cottage cheese mixture, then 1/3 sauce, then 1/2 noodles, then the remaining 1/3 sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese slices.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
