Herbed Pork Chops

Ingredients:
1 Teaspoon rosemary
1/2 Teaspoon sage
1/2 Clove garlic, chopped
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Salt to taste
4 Large pork chops (about 8 ounces each)
1/2 Cup dry white wine

Instructions:
Mix all the spices together and coat the pork chops with this mixture.
Put the chops in a greased skillet, add 1 cup of water and cover.
Simmer until all the water has evaporated, about 45 minute on low heat.
Remove the cover and brown the chops on low-medium heat.
Add 1/2 cup dry white wine and cook for about 1 minute, turning the chops.The wine should be almost evaporated before serving.
