Not Better Than Rick's Chili (But tasty)

Description: This evolved from a cold, rainy Chili type of night where I found I didn’t have the ingredients for Rick's chili. The ingredients came from what was on hand. It’s spicy so you may want to adjust.

Ingredients:
1 lb ground veal (or hamburger)
2 onions, chopped
1 28 ounce can San Marzano tomatoes, whole
2 Tablespoons ground cumin
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1 Tablespoon chipotle chili powder
1 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 Teaspoon smoked paprika
1 14 ounces can chili beans
1 14 ounces can black beans, drained and washed
1 cup water
Toppings
Cheddar cheese
Sour cream
Special tools/utensils needed:
Dutch oven
Directions:
Brown meat and onions in Dutch oven. Drain any excess grease
Add tomatoes, spices, beans and water. Bring to a boil.
Simmer covered for 1-2 hours.
