Chili Mac

Description: Delicious spin on chili! Serve in with shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Ingredients:
1 Pound ground beef
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Large onion (diced)
1 Large green pepper (diced)
1 (14.5 ounce) Can diced tomatoes
1 (15.5 ounce) Can kidney beans
1 (8 ounce) Can tomato sauce
4 Ounces Chili peppers (minced, seeded, chopped)
2 Teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup water
2 Cups uncooked elbow pasta
Shredded cheddar cheese for serving
Special tools/utensils needed:
Knife, cutting board, Dutch oven with lid, ladle
Directions:
In the Dutch oven, brown meat over medium-high heat, drain, and set aside.
In the Dutch oven, heat oil to medium-high heat and saute peppers and onions until soft.
Stir in tomatoes (undrained), kidney beans (undrained), tomato sauce, chili peppers, chili powder, salt and 1/2 cup water. Stir in meat and uncooked macaroni. Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and simmer 15-20 minutes until pasta is al dente.
