Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients:
2 Sticks butter
3 Cups sugar
6 Eggs
3 Cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
8 Ounces sour cream
1 Teaspoon vanilla
1 Teaspoon lemon extract
Special tools/utensils needed:
Hand or stand mixer, mixing bowl, flour sifter, spatula, bundt cake pan
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 ℉.
Cream butter and sugar.
Separate egg yolks and whites. Add yolks to creamed butter and sugar. Mix.
Add sifted flour with soda and add to mixture alternating with sour cream.
Stiffly beat egg whites. Add vanilla and lemon extract and gently fold in egg whites with spatula.
Pour in a greased and floured cake pan. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
