Ingredients:
2 cups of self rising cornmeal
5-6 biscuits (canned, frozen or homemade)
1 medium onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
4-5 cups turkey or chicken broth

Directions:
Make the following 2-3 days before preparing the dressing
Using 2c of self rising prepare cornmeal according to package directions
5-6 biscuits (canned, frozen, or homemade) according to package directions
Crumble up the cornbread and biscuits.
On the day you are preparing the dressing
Puree the onion
Warm the cream of mushroom soup in the microwave. You want it warm to touch, not hot. Time will vary according to microwave.
Mix the bread, pureed onion, warmed cream of chicken soup, and 4-5 c turkey or chicken broth until well combined and desired consistency (moist and jiggly but not soupy)
Bake in a greased 9x13 pan until thick, about 30-40 minutes.
