Cocktail Sauce

Description: A framework for a spicy sauce that goes great with shrimp. The directions will get you started, but you can make it your own by adding more horseradish, lemon juice and/or sugar to taste for more heat, tartness and sweetness respectively.

Ingredients:

Ketchup, bottle

Prepared horseradish, bottle

Lemon

Light brown sugar, box

Directions: 

1. Pour 1 cup ketchup into a bowl or Tupperware container (if you expect to save for later).

2. Add horseradish,  start with 2 Tablespoons.

3. Add lemon juice, start with 1/2 a lemon.

4. Add brown sugar, start with 1 Tablespoon.

5. Mix well and taste. Fine tune as above.
