Description: This is a great slow cooking recipe that as it cooks the smells alone make you anticipate dinner time. It can be served over rice or mashed potatoes

Ingredients:
1 1/2 Pounds stew beef
1/2 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 (3 Ounce) Jar of mushrooms with juice
1 (10.5 Ounce) Can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 Cup sour cream
1/3 Cup cooking sherry
Special tools/utensils needed:
I use an enameled cast iron dutch oven
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325
Stir together the Onion Soup Mix, mushrooms and juice, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream and cooking sherry in the dutch oven.
Add beef tips to the soup mixture and stir to coat.
Bake covered at 325 for 3 hours. Serve over rice or potatoes.
