Boiled Peanuts

Ingredients:
2.5 lbs of green peanuts
1/3 cup non-iodized sea salt
8 cups of water

Directions:
Rinse peanuts in sink filled with cool water, swirling them around in the water to remove all dirt.
In a stock pot, add peanuts, water and salt.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium for 2 hours. Check every 30 minutes and add water as needed.
Turn off burner and let peanuts soak for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the saltiness you'd like.
Drain and enjoy!
