Coconut Pecan Filing

Ingredients:
1 cup Evaporated milk
1 cup Sugar
3 Egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/2 cup Butter or oleo
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups Coconut, sweetened and flaked
1 cup Pecans, chopped

Instructions:
In a heavy saucepan, combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter or oleo, and vanilla extract in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir constantly until mixture thickens, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add coconut and pecans. Beat until cool and of spreadable consistency.
